Limington is located in York County in southern Maine and can be found on a map by looking for the road intersection of routes 25 and 11.  See Map of Limington tab for link to MapQuest.

The town is looking for a qualified retired person or couple with good people skills and a hard-sided RV (not a tent camper) to live on site and manage the area and provide security.  The town will provide to the manager a campsite with well water, electricity (50 amps), and septic, as well as a stipend.  See compensation tab for details.

The season runs from mid-May to mid-September.  A slight variance to the start and stop dates could be tolerated.

Beach usage is approximately 10 cars during weekdays and as many as 75 on weekends.  Boat launches are estimated at about 3 on weekdays and 10 on weekends.  Area usage is very heavily dependent on weather conditions, and on rainy days it may not be used at all.

Pequawket Lake has crystal clear water and is spring fed.  MOY MO DA YO is a public beach area with approximately 1,500 feet of sandy shoreline.  It is located in a forested area at the end of a one-mile-long dirt road and provides a picturesque view of the lake with a mountain nestled in the background.
